The absolutely bonkers Demon is powered by a 6.2L V8 engine, which has a 3.0L supercharger, good for 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque when running on E85 fuel. Unfortunately, it's not all good news, as the 0-60 time isn't quite as good as Dodge claims, if you're the type of person that believes a 0-60 starts at 0 mph. The video will highlight all the details, and the many disclaimers that go along with this 0-60 time, as well as what the real 0-60 time is. It can therefore deliver 650hp & 600Nm, and just like the Mustang, it’s rear-wheel drive. It’s a fair bit lighter, though, weighing in at 1,656kg. And then finally we have the Challenger. It’s powered by a 6.4-litre V8 which has had (you guessed it…) a supercharger added to it, and it’ll put down 650hp & 600Nm, exactly the same as the Camaro! It’s also RWD, but it’s the heaviest car here, weighing in at 1,900kg. So how’s this going to play out - surely the most powerful car has to snatch the win, right? The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is an ethanol-powered, wild send-off to the Challenger as we know it today. It makes an astounding 1,010 horsepower and 930 pound-feet of torque on E85. The 6.2-liter supercharged V8 is from the Demon and has a new 3.0-liter supercharger and pulley, a new throttle body, bigger fuel injectors, stronger cylinder head studs, new pistons, rods, crank bearings, fluid damper and billet main caps. Dodge says that on a prepped surface with rollout, the Demon 170 will get to 60 mph in 1.66 seconds and do the quarter mile in 8.9 seconds at an excess of 150 mph. #dodge #challenger #dodgechallenger #dodgedemon #srt #demon

The Dodge Last Call festival, a highly anticipated event by automotive enthusiasts, was hosted by Dodge. During the festival, the unveiling of the new Demon was the highlight of the show. In front of a large audience at the Las Vegas Speed Motorway, the drag-focused machine made its first public appearance, showcasing its unparalleled abilities on the drag strip. On a meticulously prepared race track, the Demon 170 can achieve an astonishing acceleration rate, reaching 60 miles per hour in a mere 1.66 seconds. Additionally, the vehicle is capable of completing the quarter-mile discipline in an NHRA-certified 8.91 seconds at a remarkable speed of 151.17 mph. The intense engine noise was the product of a heavily modified 6.2-liter V8 engine located beneath the hood. This engine has the capacity to generate up to 1,025 horsepower at 6,500 rpm, and an astonishing 945 pound-feet of torque at 4,200 rpm when fueled with E85 fuel. The engine can still generate an impressive output of 900 hp and 810 lb-ft even when running on E10 gasoline.
